Workplace conflicts and violent incidents harass employees and the management. It causes physical effects to employees and also the impact of the enterprise reputation and morale. Generally, employees and the management will find it difficulties to cope with the problem. In recent years, employees from different trades, for instances, service industry, health care industry, social service industry and those front-line public servants suffered from violent conflict with related people or the public while they are performing their duties. In this regard, occupational safety of those employees is being more and more concerned. This course aims to enable participant to understand the preventive measures, the necessary knowledge, strategy and skill to cope with workplace violence.

Prerequisites: General education with relevant working experience

● Students who do not have sufficient attendance is not allowed to attend the examination.
● Students who are absent from the class, late or leave earlier for more than 30 minutes in class will be regarded as absent for that session.
