The ultimate objective of any safety management system is to prevent injury and ill health in the workplace. To accomplish this it is necessary to develop in-house safety rules and procedures. Usually, in-house safety rules cover general rules, specialized work rules, specialized work permits and procedures. In formulating in-house safety rules, it is necessary to have prior consultation with relevant staff to gain recognition and ownership and ensure they are clearly instructed as to what rules they should follow.

3. How to draw up in-house safety rules and procedures?
4. How to enhance staff’s acceptance and implementation of in-house safety rules and procedures?
5. How to assure compliance and consider taking disciplinary actions, if necessary

Prerequisites: General education and relevant working experience
Remark: ● Award of Certificate: 100% attendance and pass the end-of-course examination.
● Students who do not have sufficient attendance are not allowed to attend the examination.
● Students who are absent from the class, late or leave earlier for more than 30 minutes in class will be regarded as absent for that session.
