Tour escort and tour guide are the frontline staff of the tourism. Their job duties include arranging the tourists to visit various tourist attractions and explaining the related information in the tour. One of the job duties of the tour escort and tour guide is to ensure the safety of their tourists during the tour, on the other hand the OSH of the tour escort and tour guide also should be concerned. The OSH problems include the damage of the vocal cords because of frequently speaking, heat stress while working outdoor, sustain back pain or injury resulted from awkward posture during the loading of the luggage, lower-musculoskeletal disease because of prolonged standing at work, work stress and violence at work. The course is intended for tour escort and tour guide to enable them to understand their common hazards and the safety precautions against commonly encountered hazards at work and thus improve their knowledge of OSH.

Remark: ◎Award of Certificate: 100% attendance and pass in end-of-course examination.
◎Students who do not have sufficient attendance is not allowed to attend the examination
◎Students who are absent from the class, late or leave earlier for more than 30 minutes in class will be regarded as absent for that session.
