(SESW)Workshop on Fitness Exercise for Sedentary Workers

Office staff and those who use display/screen equipment require a long-time sitting in their seats and may have to maintain the
same working posture for a long time, leading to health problems. To avoid excessive muscle fatigue and other serious tendon
problems, in addition to regular breaks, office staff should do stretching exercise to relieve musculoskeletal disorders. This course
aims to provide sedentary workers with practical stretching exercise to prevent muscle strain.

• Common musculoskeletal disorders among
sedentary staff
• The causes, signs, symptoms, and treatment of
musculoskeletal disorders
• Aerobics for preventing and relieving musculoskeletal
disorders
• Stretching exercise
Duration (Hour): 2.5 hours
Instructor: Professional or OSHC consultant
Language: Cantonese supplemented with Chinese notes
Prerequisites: Ability to read and write in Chinese
Remark: ◎Award of Certificate: 100% attendance and pass in end-of-course examination.
◎Students who do not have sufficient attendance is not allowed to attend the examination
◎Students who are absent from the class, late or leave earlier for more than 30 minutes in a class will be regarded as absent for that session.
