OSHC 職業安全健康局

職安健訓練課程為了配合香港社會對安全健康訓練的需求，職安局舉辦了一系列的職業安全健康訓練課程，受到廣大在職人士的歡迎和支持。

一般職業安全及健康課程

(DH(E))家庭傭工的基本安全(英文班)

There are thousands of Domestic Helpers working in Hong Kong families
making contribution to the local economy. Their works may look familiar to us,
yet there are various potential hazards such as musculoskeletal disorders arising from doing chores due to improper methods; electric shock due to improper
use of electrical appliances; cut/scald injury from kitchen work etc.

On and off there are serious accidents that not only cause serious injury but
also great disruption to the normal life of the family therein. This course aims
at providing the domestic helpers with the basic occupational safety and health
knowledge to assist them to work safely which in turn help to build and
maintain a safe and healthy home.

課程內容：	1. Liabilities of employer and domestic helper related to occupational safety and health 2. Major hazards and relevant control measures in domestic works 3. Reporting of accidents 4. Basic first aid techniques 5. Demonstration and use of personal protective equipment 6. Case studies and discussion
授課期 (小時)：	3.5 hours plus end-of-course examination
講師：	Professional or OSHC consultant
授課語言：	英語輔以英文講義
入學條件：	Ability to read and write in English
備註：	◎Award of Certificate: 100% attendance and pass in end-of-course examination. ◎Students who do not have sufficient attendance are not allowed to attend the examination ◎Students who are absent from the class, late or leave earlier for more than 30 minutes in a class will be regarded as absent for that session.
