Certificate Of Competence Courses
(AMS(R))Certificate of Competence in Refresher First Aid
Competent first aiders are required to attend a refresher course every three years in order to extend their recognition as competent first aiders. This course aims to provide updated information on first aid techniques and its practical approaches so as to keep up their standard.

| Prerequisites： |
1. Persons who have obtained competent first aid certificates from recognized authorities including OSHC, Auxiliary Medical Service, HK St. John Ambulance and Red Cross, and it will expire or has expired within six months. For example, the first aid certificate will expire on 31/5/2022, the student should attend the related refresher course before 30/11/2022. 2. Applicants should submit a copy of their competent first aid certificates to us. If applicants cannot fulfill item 1 above, the Council will not accept their application. |
| Remark： |
● Award of Certificate: At least 100% attendance and a pass in end-of-course examination. Trainees will be provided a first aid certificate jointly issued by the AMS and OSHC. This certificate is valid for three years. ● Students who do not have sufficient attendance are not allowed to attend the examination. ● Students who are absent from the class, late or leave earlier for more than 30 minutes in a class will be regarded as absent for that session. |
