The catering industry is one of the major industries in Hong Kong employing a large number of people. The number of work accidents in the industry is high. The most common accidents are slips and falls, cuts, burns and other injuries caused by manual handling operations. Some of the injuries are serious and result in death. It is necessary for the industry to step up safety management in the organisations, communicate with employees and train for employees on safety to achieve the target of creating a safe and healthy working environment.

● Award of Certificate: 100% attendance and pass the end-of-course examination. ● Students who do not have sufficient attendance are not allowed to attend the examination. ● Students who are absent from the class, late or leave earlier for more than 30 minutes in a class will be regarded as absent for that session.
