Laundry workers encounter several OSH risks in their daily work, e.g. when operating large washing and ironing machines, using chemicals, manual handling, working in hot environment, etc. To avoid accidents, not only the responsible person should provide a safe workplace, employees also should receive adequate OSH training. This course is established for practitioners in the industry, for them to learn the OSH risks, relevant OSH legal requirements, accident prevention measures and emergency response, in order to prevent accidents in their daily work.

Prerequisites: Ability for reading and writing Chinese
Remark: ◎Award of Certificate: 100% attendance and pass the end-of-course examination.
◎Students who do not have sufficient attendance are not allowed to attend the examination
◎Students who are absent from the class, late or leave earlier for more than 30 minutes in a class will be regarded as absent for that session.
