Employees working in different departments of a hotel, such as catering, housekeeping and laundering, face different work hazards that may result in accidental injury. The common accidents are slips and falls, cuts, burns and other injuries caused by manual handling operations. Some of the injuries are serious and may even result in death.
The purpose of the training course is to provide employees with basic information about the common work hazards in the hotel industry and the precautionary measures they can take to protect themselves and other employees.
