Hong Kong has a good reputation of Gourmet Paradise that is attributed by all personnel working in catering industry. However, the Labour Department data shows that the occupational injuries in Catering Industry are the highest in terms of numbers of accidents among various industries in recent years. We believed that Gourmet paradise should not only base on colour, flavor and taste of food, but also employees’ safety and health.
Employers have the responsibilities to establish a safety management system, in order to maintain a safe and health working environment. Also, they should appoint a management staff with good understanding of occupational safety and health management to administrate and supervise occupational safety and health work.
The course is aims at providing adequate safety and health training for management staff in catering industry. Enhancing their knowledge of the occupational safety and health in catering industry, so that they can effectively perform administrative and supervisory duties.

● Certificate is awarded when the student has attained 100% class attendance. ● Student is not allowed to attend the examination if the attendance rate is less than the required. ● Students who are absent from the class, late or leave earlier for more than 30 minutes in class will be regarded as absent for that session. |
