(WSCH)Works Supervisor Safety Training Course (Cargo Handling)

Shipping and Port Control Ordinance and Merchant Shipping (Local Vessels) Ordinance were commenced in 2007, all vessels in Hong Kong or in the waters of Hong Kong engaged in cargo handling should assign at least one works supervisor to assist the person in charge to supervise the works and to ensure the works carried out safely.
This course is recognized by the Marine Department. The aims of this course are to provide a recognized works supervisor safety training to those employees who require working on the vessel for cargo handling and equip them with sufficient safety knowledge to be competent to become works supervisor.

Duration (Hour): 12 hours
Instructor: Professional or OSHC consultant
Language: Cantonese supplemented with Chinese notes
Prerequisites: 18 years of age or above, Ability to read and write in Chinese, at least 2 years relevant working experience, holder of valid "Shipboard Cargo Handling Basic Training Course" Certificate
Remark: ◎Award of Certificate: 100% attendance and pass the end-of-course examination.
◎Students who do not have sufficient attendance are not allowed to attend the examination
◎Students who are absent from the class, late or leave earlier for more than 30 minutes in class will be regarded as absent for that session.
