Property management is indispensable in every building nowadays. Property management involves various types of work, including security, cleaning, repair and maintenance, etc. As each of this work contains its own potential hazards and if the hazards are not effectively controlled, it not only will adversely affect the safety and health of employees, but also impose harms on residents and visitors, resulting in accident claims and damage of company’s reputation. The aim of this course is to provide training to property management practitioners for becoming a qualified safety supervisor, so as to assist his/her employer in promoting and improving the safety and health of persons employed therein. The course also emphasizes on the safety and health management between contractors and a property management company, so as to acquire participants with the necessary knowledge in solving safety and health problems with different contractors such as security and cleaning contractors.
