There are quite many people employed in trades related to building services. Most works are about the maintenance and repair of installations to ensure uninterrupted supplies of water, air conditioning, electricity and gas. Workers face various occupational hazards, like falls from scaffolds, work platforms and ladders; electric shock while using electrical tools; and struck by moving machine parts. This course is to provide basic safety knowledge to building services personnel to prevent accidents.
