(AEDC)APPLICATION OF AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATOR AND CARDIO PULMONARY RESUSCITATION

Effective cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CRP) wiht the aids of an automated external defibrillator (AED) will increase the chance of resuming normal heart bears. AEDs are commonly used in airports, railway stations, housing estates, shopping malls and scholls, etc. In order to maximize the effectiveness, AEDs should be operated by a trained personnel with first aid knowledge. This course in intended for those applicants without first aid or CRP certificates in operation aed. After completing the course, papticipants should be able to apply AED and CRP properly, which would help increase the chance of saving sudden heart attack. This course involves practical training supplemented with theoretical lesson.

Instructor: Professional or OSHC consultant
Language: Cantonese supplemented with Chinese notes
Prerequisites: Ability to read and write in Chinese
Remark: ◎Award of Certificate: 100% attendance and pass in end-of-course examination.
◎Students who do not have sufficient attendance is not allowed to attend the examination
◎Students who are late or leave earlier for more than 30 minutes in a class will be regarded as absent for that session of the course
