“Mental Health First Aid” is an international certificate course originally developed in Australia and gradually spread throughout countries like USA, Canada, UK, Scotland, Finland, Singapore, Hong Kong etc. It is a 12-hour training course that teaches how to help someone who is experiencing a mental health problem or in a mental health crisis, before he or she can obtain professional help.
This course involves theoretical lecture supplemented with video, practical exercise and quiz. This course is designed for personnel who works in social welfare service, health care service, customer service, human resources or job-related requirement to have mental health first aid knowledge.
