Occupational Safety and Health Management Courses
(APS)Analysis and Prevention of Serious Work Injuries

Hong Kong's occupational safety and health (OSH) standards have been improving. At the same time, different parties have been greatly strengthening their requirements for safety at work in recent years. OSH management staff thus have to promote OSH without any slackening of their efforts, especially in respect of those high-risk or accident-prone industries and processes, such as the construction industry, container handling, working at height, electrical work, working in confined spaces, etc. Through a series of case studies of serious or fatal accidents at work, this course aims to arouse the concerns of OSH management staff and safety officers, and allow them to draw upon such cases to device proper hazard control systems and measures for preventing similar accidents from happening again.
