Summer days are hot and humid in Hong Kong. Workers engaging work in hot weather or hot work for long hours, especially those who have to perform manual work no matter indoors or outdoors are at risk of having heat stroke or even death if appropriate preventive measures are not taken. Therefore, employers and employees should take appropriate measures for prevention of heat stroke at work in a hot environment.
The purpose of this course is to provide training to the participants on prevention of heat stroke at work and the control measures to minimize the risk of heat stroke.
