General Occupational Safety and Health Courses

(OS)Office Safety

Many people believe that occupational health and safety problems only occur in factories and construction sites. The office environment is usually considered comfortable and healthy. In fact, there are various potential dangers in the office environment which, if not properly handled, can affect or influence the safety and health of the staff.
This course introduces common occupational hazards encountered in offices and preventive measures.

Highlights：	1. General office safety 2. Effect of lighting and noise on health 3. Ventilation systems and indoor air quality 4. Working posture 5. Hazards of office equipment to users 6. Design of workstations
Duration (Hour)：	3.5 hours
Instructor：	Professional or OSHC consultant
Language：	Cantonese supplemented with Chinese notes
Prerequisites：	Ability to read and write in Chinese
Remark：	◎Award of Certificate: 100% attendance and pass the end-of-course examination. ◎Students who do not have sufficient attendance are not allowed to attend the examination ◎Students who are absent from the class, late or leave earlier for more than 30 minutes in a class will be regarded as absent for that session.
