Abrasive wheels are mainly used in the construction and manufacturing sectors for metal-surface finishing processes through grinding and cutting. The high-speed operation of the abrasive wheels enables the job to be finished within a short period of time. However, it gives rise to many hazards such as noise, bursting of abrasive wheels, fire and chips flying out at great speed. The accidents arising from the use of abrasive wheels are generally serious and the lack of safety awareness is one of the main causes. The purpose of this course is to provide basic safety training to those who need to use abrasive wheels.
