Safety training is a major element in a safety management system. It makes the staff competent and understanding safe work procedures. An occupational safety and health trainer has to find out the training needs, gather materials for organising a course, conduct lesson skilfully, and motivate trainees to achieve the set targets. This course puts emphasis on both theory and practice and is aimed at whoever want to be an effective trainer on occupational safety and health matters.

Duration (Hour): 18 hours
Instructor: Professional or OSHC consultant
Language: Cantonese supplemented with Chinese notes
Prerequisites: 1. Completion of secondary education (F.5 under HKCEE or F.6 under HKDSE) or above or equivalent (applicants should provide copies of certification) or holders of “Occupational Safety and Health Training Techniques” course
2. Ability to read and write Chinese
Remark: ● Award of Certificate: 100% attendance and pass in end-of-course examination.
● Students who do not have sufficient attendance is not allowed to attend the examination.
● Students who are absent from the class, late or leave earlier for more than 30 minutes in class will be regarded as absent for that session.
