People face different kinds of hazards when working at natural terrain landslide such as tripping while walking along a rugged path or falling from a slope; facing a sudden change of climate or adverse weather; the danger of any abrupt hill fire, thunderstorm or floods; lost way in wilderness; or under attack from animals or inserts, etc. They do always underestimate these risks for the natural terrain landslide work and are not equipped with adequate protective or auxiliary equipment. Besides, serious accidents can occur as a result of the lack of knowledge in basic first aid and getting helps in wilderness.

This course aims at providing the participants with the knowledge of recognizing various hazards arising from the natural terrain landslide works including appropriate preventive measures and the respective emergency responses. In addition to the safety knowledge, some basic technique of first aid and getting helps in wilderness, etc, will also be delivered to them as well in order to enhance their safety awareness for the natural terrain landslide works.

Instructor: Professional or OSHC Consultant
Language: Cantonese supplemented with Chinese notes
Prerequisites: Cantonese supplemented with Chinese notes
Remark: ◎Award of Certificate: 100% attendance and pass the end-of-course examination.
◎Students who do not have sufficient attendance are not allowed to attend the examination
◎Students who are absent from the class, late or leave earlier for more than 30 minutes in a class will be regarded as absent for that session.
