Truss-out scaffold is widely used for property renovation and repair works such as maintenance of external building wall, removal
of illegal structures, installation of air-conditioner or wall cleaning. Injury oreven fatality could occur as a result of fall from height
due to inadequate implementation of preventive measures. Transportable Temporary Anchor Devices (TTAD), complying with
international standards are being available in the market. They can be considered as a means of fall prevention devices. Serious
accident can be reduced remarkably provided that the devices are properly used.
This course aims at raising the awareness of participants while working at height, highlighting the key issues for erecting,
dismantling and using the TTAD correctly, and other personal protective equipment.
