(FLTO(R))Revalidation Training Course for Operators of Fork-lift Truck
Fork-lift truck operators who have obtained Fork-lift Truck Operation Certificates from OSHC should notice that their certificates are valid for 5 years. Holders of these certificates should join the revalidation course, otherwise they are not allowed to operate fork-lift trucks.
This revalidation course aims at providing the operators with the latest legislative requirements and fork-lift truck operational knowledge, and refreshing the operators’ fork-lift truck operational skills.

| Prerequisites： |
1. Applicant should be lawfully employable in Hong Kong, i.e. (a) Holder of Hong Kong Permanent Identity Card; or (b) Holder of Hong Kong Identity Card and valid travel document (must free from condition of stay or subject to a valid time limit of stay only); or (c) Holder of a visa / entry permit to work in the HKSAR issued by Hong Kong Immigration Department 2. Holder of "Certificate of Fork-lift Truck Operator Course" recognized by the Labour Department. 3. The certificate will expire within six months or has expired not more than three months. For example, the certificate will expire on 31/8/2025, the student should complete the related revalidation course and pass the examination before 30/11/2025. 4. Applicants should have at least 6 working days of experience in operating the particular type of fork-lift truck; or at least 1.5 years of experience in operating the particular type of fork-lift truck in the past five years; or at least 6 months of experience in operating the particular type of fork-lift truck last year. 5. Applicants should submit a copy of the certificates and relevant proof of working experience or completed "Experience Verification Form for Operating Fork-lift Truck". If applicants cannot fulfill items 1, 2, 3 & 4 above, the Council will not accept their applications. 6. Holders of certificates of two different model of fork-lift truck operator course which expiry dates are closed to each other, then they should enroll two different revalidation courses (total 5.5 hours). Course fee is $265 / $240* / $185** 7. Holders of certificates of three different model of fork-lift truck operator course which expiry dates are closed to each other, then they should enroll three different revalidation courses (total 7.5 hours). Course fee is $370 / $330* / $260** |
| Remark： |
● Award of Certificate: 100% attendance and pass the end-of-course examination. ● Any trainee who is absent from the class for more than 15 minutes for any half-day sessions will be disqualified to attend the examination. (The Labour Department has implemented improvement measures for the system for monitoring of mandatory safety training courses, which requires that any trainee who is absent from the class for more than 15 minutes for any half-day sessions will be disqualified to attend the examination.) ● Trainee should refer to Mandatory Safety Training Courses Notes for Trainees. Please fill in Mandatory Safety Training Courses Visual and Audio Recording Consent Form and Acknowledgement of Receipt of "Mandatory Safety Training Courses Notes for Trainees" and Mandatory Safety Training Course Declaration and return these form together with the course application form to the Council.
