A lot of employees have to use display screen equipment (DSE) for prolonged time, for instance, clerks of word processing, data entry, telecommunication operators, computer-aided designers, and stock and bond dealers. They may very often feel uncomfortable and acquire short-term ill effects. If these adverse effects are not attended to, they may worsen and develop into chronic health problems. This course aims to provide DSE users and their employers an understanding of health effects caused by DSE and how to use risk assessment to eliminate or control such hazards.
